Road closure scheme in our area

Start of works:  4 October 2016

End of works: 20 October 2016

Hours of work: 20:00 to 06:00.

Location of works: A5/A49 Bayston Hill including Dobbie’s Roundabout inner and outer lanes and Dorrington to Lebotwood.

Detail of works: renewal of road markings and road studs.

Traffic restrictions:

Total mainline closure and side roads on each carriageway.

Access to businesses and residential properties will be maintained at all times.

Diversion route:

Bayston Hill to Craven Arms A5 & A456 & B4368

From Bayston Hill Roundabout head east on the A5, Use the left lane to take the A458 slip road to Shrewsbury/Bridgnorth, turn right onto A458, at Morville turn right onto B4368 and continue to Craven Arms to re-join A49.

Craven Arms to Bayston Hill

At Craven Arms turn right onto B4368, continue on B4368 to Morville, at Morville turn left onto A458, continue to follow A458, turn left to merge onto A5 towards North Wales and Bayston Hill Roundabout.

Emergency vehicle access will be maintained for the duration of the works, if you need to enter the works area in an emergency situation please drive carefully through the works area and comply to the site speed limit.
